Adib Dada will be speaking in London during London Climate Action Week as part of the conference Building Resilience: Demonstrators for a Changing Climate, hosted in partnership with C40 Cities. The event brings together international practitioners, policymakers, and city leaders to explore innovative pathways toward a more sustainable and resilient urban future. As part of the session Urban Rewilding & Grey-to-Green, Adib Dada will spotlight Beirut’s RiverLESS Forest and the transformative role of urban rewilding in addressing pollution, extreme heat, and water-related challenges. Rooted in regenerative design and biodiversity restoration, the discussion will emphasize how urban forests can serve as vital cooling infrastructure while strengthening ecological and community resilience.

During the conference, organized by ESA Business School, we delivered a talk about Beirut RiverLESS as part of a round table discussion focusing on “Increasing Urban Resilience by Improving Urban Planning“.
