Launched in 2018 in memory of Saja Tourbah Dada, The Saja Foundation aims to support emerging artists and students in the performing arts and bring art therapy to cancer wards in Lebanon and the UK. To kick-start the funding for the foundation, an art exhibition of Saja’s final works, “Silent Walls”, was to be set up in the old ruins of an Arak factory by the sea side in Batroun.
As art consultants, our role was to design the layout of this unconventional exhibition space to display Saja’s artwork. The space was designed to tell the story of Saja, taking the visitors on a journey through her expressive paintings and artwork before and during therapy.
