We intend for MDLBEAST’s Members’ Club in Faifa to become an anchor tenant of the Diplomatic Quarter, respecting the city’s heritage, and building on it to breathe new life into it. It is designed as a multiuse social and cultural entertainment center, following principles of sustainability based on an understanding of the local ecosystem, its fauna, flora and colors. Those are weaved into every aspect of the club, from the architectural language and materials, to the interior design, color palette and landscaping.
The club’s design intends to multiply the guests’ experience through spatial & natural encounters, landscaped in harmony with local ecosystems.
The masterplan is inspired by nature and art to offer a highly adaptable project, unfolding as a flexible series of hexagonal pods that are joined in clusters to make up the required functions. They are laid out on a quadrant, starting from the bottom most public functions accessible to a varied and fresh audience (Public Reception area, Coffee shops, Lounge, Auditorium, Performance and Conference spaces, Art gallery, Artist residency accommodations, Pop-up F&B concepts and Retail)
This then leads into the private upper quadrant, catering to members formed from an exclusive mix of local and foreign guests, across industries and demographics, with a focus on the creative sector. The club will offer places to unwind, network and be creative, indulging in services such as dedicated pools, restaurants, bars and cafes. The wellness center floats in an oasis above the water, centering on local and regional practices. The club culminates at the edge of the wadi site, with a Cultural Salon, Lounges, exclusive Recording Studio, and underground Nightclub nestled inside a lush forest, for the ultimate privacy experience.
